Who am I?
Hi, I’m Jake—a passionate photographer who sees the world through a lens. My journey with photography began at the age of 12 when I received a digital camera as a birthday gift. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion, shaping the way I see and experience the world. Now, I’m always on the lookout for special moments to capture, whether it’s a stunning landscape, a heartfelt portrait, or an exciting event.
I have an insatiable love for learning (a bit nerdy, I know!), and this curiosity extends into both my photography and my everyday life. I’m constantly exploring new techniques, experimenting with different styles, and pushing myself to grow as a photographer. As a primary school teacher, I also get to share this love of learning with the next generation—something that brings me just as much joy as photography itself.
For me, photography is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about storytelling, connection, and capturing emotions that last a lifetime. Whether I’m working on personal projects, collaborating creatively, or simply chatting about photography, I love sharing this passion with others.

I love documenting the natural beauty of the places I visit, using a mix of DSLR cameras, drones, and even sometimes my phone to capture the perfect shot.
Recently, I’ve been diving into portrait photography, working with individuals, families, and even pets to preserve special moments in time.
I also have a passion for photographing air shows and fireworks displays, where I challenge myself to capture the energy, movement, and colour of these spectacular events.
